The Presentation of Our Lord in the Temple where Christ is identified by Simeon and Anna as the Light of the World. For this reason we traditionally bless candles this day. A table will placed in the church on Sunday 1/29. You may drop off candles at any time, which will be blessed at Mass on 2/2.
